About the line
What filament strapping tape is for
Filament tape has glass threads running its length, which gives it far more tensile strength than plain carton tape. It bundles odd-shaped packages, holds better than twine or glue closures, and is an economical alternative to steel and poly strapping.
The grades climb with the load: the brand's own figures put the economy grade at 110 lb, standard at 180 lb, industrial at 324 lb and heavy duty at 378 lb tensile. Rolls are 60 yards long, 3.9 mil, in 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 2 and 3 inch widths.
