The numbers that decide a roll
Thickness, adhesive, width and length decide how well a tape seals. A 1.6 mil roll and a 3.5 mil roll look alike on the shelf, and the mil figure is what tells them apart.
Thickness in mil
One mil is 0.001 inch. The carton sealing tape runs from 1.6 mil economy rolls to 3.5 mil heavy-duty acrylic, and gaffers tape is 11 mil.
Adhesive type
Acrylic stays clear and ages well on stored boxes. Hot melt grabs fast on a busy packing table. Natural rubber bites into recycled and dusty board.
Application temperature
Natural rubber rolls state 0°F to 150°F and acrylic rolls 45°F to 120°F. For an unheated dock in winter, the low number is the one that matters.
Width and length
Most carton sealing rolls are 2 or 3 inches wide and 55 or 110 yards long. A 110-yard roll seals about twice the boxes of a 55-yard one, and a 1,000-yard roll holds about nine 110-yard rolls on one core.

The Tape Logic range in motion
Clear and tan carton sealing tape, corrugated boxes in several shapes, a hand-held tape gun, warning tape and handling labels: Tape Logic supplies, one after another.
In the video
The brand
Tape Logic, explained in one read
Tape Logic is the name on a long shelf of shipping supplies: clear and tan carton sealing tape, masking and gaffers tape, warning labels, corrugated boxes, padded mailers and the tape guns that tie it together. Right now 1,158 models in 54 lines are available.
The tape is where the brand started. TAPE LOGIC became a registered U.S. trademark in 2014 for carton sealing, masking, filament, duct, gaffers and electrical tape, and those six kinds are still the backbone of the range. Most rolls come in the two widths shipping uses most, 2 and 3 inches, on a 3 inch core that fits the common hand-held dispensers.
What sets the tape apart is the way it is labeled. Each model states its thickness in mil and its adhesive, and some carry a series number on the case, such as #600 for economy hot melt or 2200 and 2600 for masking. Thickness tells you how hard the tape resists splitting. Adhesive tells you how it behaves on cold, dusty or recycled board. A 1.6 mil hot melt roll is built for light cartons, a 2.6 mil acrylic roll for heavier ones.

The boxes follow the same habit. The standard lines are cut from 200#/ECT-32 single wall corrugated, the board grade printed on the bottom flap of most American shipping boxes, and the heavy-duty lines go to double wall. There are flat boxes for apparel and books, long and tall boxes for narrow items, multi-depth boxes scored to cut down to a lower height, and side-loading boxes for frames and mirrors. Many of the box models are marked Made in the USA.
The labels are the part buyers notice least and use most. Tape Logic prints dozens of messages, from Fragile and This Side Up to Inspected, Hold and Rush, on fluorescent rolls of 500 that fit a tabletop label dispenser. For a warehouse, the day and month labels and the color-coding dots make stock rotation visible from across the aisle.
No single roll or box is right for every job, and the honest choice is often the cheaper one: a light carton does not need 3.5 mil tape, and a box of paperbacks does not need double wall. Start from the job, then match the size, the thickness and the pack count to it.

| Boxes | 9 | 241 | $27.84 | per box |

What buyers say about Tape Logic
Boxes that fold easily, tape that some find thin: buyers on Tape Logic tape, labels and boxes.
Not much mystery here. They’re corrugated cardboard boxes, they’re the advertised size, they fold together easily, and they feel sturdy enough for normal packing, shipping, and storage. The cardboard has a decent thickness, the seams are well made, and I haven’t found any obvious quality issues. I use boxes like these regularly for shipping items, and these do exactly what I need them to do. Sometimes five stars really is this simple: they’re good boxes.

Good tape at a good price. I ship heavy products all over the US and I've never had a problem with the tape. I've purchased it several times and will purchase again.
Charletta · April 5, 2026 · Acrylic Carton Sealing Tape
I used these in a large, professional scale laser printer at our office and they printed well and didn't smudge or have issues. I did black and white print only, so I can't attest to colors. I printed a test print first, to ensure everything lined up with the formatting, and then printed with ease. The printer doesn't like stickers in the main drawers, so I had to use the handfeeder on the side, but that's an issue with the printer not the stickers. The stickers came off easily, and we used them to put on envelopes for donation requests. Overall, they were easy to use and the print looked good.

Good sticking but nothing heavy duty about it, thin material, last brand I bought was much more heavy duty, though sufficient for average use, so decent value.
Waynoe · March 17, 2025 · Hot Melt Carton Sealing Tape
I love these boxes! The collapsible/adjustable size is perfect for my e-commerce business where the amount/size configuration of a customer’s order may vary, it gives me a lot of flexibility to ship multiple order sizes with one box. It also has very sturdy construction which has survived many battle wounds from the savage handling of UPS. If you need flexibility with your box size, I highly recommend giving these a try!
Joe · January 23, 2021 · Multi-Depth Boxes
I have purchased these before and did not receive packing boxes. These are not protective, and flimsy. It’s hit or miss when you purchase these unfortunately.
