About the line

What security & tamper-evident tape is for

Security tape is for shipments where you need to know if someone opened the box on the way. Move or remove the strip and a bold OPENED VOID message stays on the carton, so a lifted and re-stuck strip shows at once.

The strips are 3.9 mil and carry consecutive numbers every 5 3/4 inches, so a shipment can be matched to its seal number. They also turn ordinary mailers and envelopes into tamper-evident ones.

Best for

High-value shipments
Matching a seal number to a shipment record
Closing mailers and envelopes

Look elsewhere if

Sealing whole cartons on a budget: plain carton tape costs far less
A handling message: pre-printed tape says Fragile or Inspected
